The right transport solution for every load

From standard shipments to oversized and project cargo, we assess the cargo dimensions, weight, loading conditions and route, then choose the most suitable transport.

We use specialised semi-trailers and flatbeds, and for more complex projects we coordinate special permits, additional equipment and reliable logistics partners across Europe.

Our services

We choose the transport to fit the cargo, not the other way round

Different loads need different transport conditions. In one case the cargo height or width matters most, in another its length, weight, hazard class or a non-standard loading process.

We assess the specific task and choose the right semi-trailer, flatbed, load securing method and route. When a project needs extra capacity, our logistics and freight forwarding department coordinates the transport, equipment and partners.

Not sure which transport option suits you best? Send us the cargo dimensions, weight and photos, and we will help you choose a solution.

01Specialised transport

More space for loads with non-standard dimensions

Extendable and raised Mega trailers are designed for loads whose height or width means they cannot be carried safely on a standard curtainsider.

The trailer can be adapted to the specific load: the roof lifts, the side curtains slide open and, if needed, the deck extends to a width of 320 / 350 cm. This keeps the protection of a curtainsider while carrying larger industrial equipment, tanks, structures and other non-standard loads.

Before transport we assess not only the cargo dimensions but also the loading method, weight distribution, securing points and any restrictions along the whole route.

02Non-standard cargo

When the load exceeds the limits of standard transport

Moving oversized cargo takes more than the right vehicle. The cargo dimensions, weight, centre of gravity, loading conditions and every restriction along the route must be assessed precisely.

We transport large industrial equipment, structures, machinery, tanks and other loads that cannot travel on standard semi-trailers. For each task we choose an open flatbed or other specialised transport, plan the load securing and coordinate the whole transport process.

When required, we arrange special permits, escort vehicles, lifting equipment and everything else needed for safe transport.

03Dangerous goods

Responsible transport of dangerous goods

Dangerous goods are subject to special requirements for transport, labelling, documentation and safety. Before every shipment we need to know the exact classification, quantity, packaging and transport conditions of the cargo.

We organise ADR-compliant transport in Lithuania and across Europe. We assess the cargo data provided, choose the right transport and agree the documentation and safety measures the shipment requires.

04Container logistics

Container collection, delivery and return

We organise container transport between terminals, warehouses, production sites and other loading or delivery points. Based on the container type, cargo weight and route, we choose a suitable container chassis and plan the whole transport process.

We can handle more than delivery: collecting the container from the terminal, presenting it for loading or unloading and returning the empty container to the agreed location.

Where the loading and unloading conditions allow, we can offer a one-way solution. This model can avoid returning the empty container with the same vehicle and reduce overall logistics costs. Whether a one-way solution is possible is assessed individually, based on the container type, route, unloading conditions and the container’s next use.

05Long loads

Stable transport of long loads that need lateral support

Long pipes, profiles, timber and other elongated structures must be protected against shifting sideways in transit. For these loads we use flatbeds with vertical stanchions that stabilise the cargo and keep it in position.

We choose the transport solution according to the cargo length, weight, shape and stacking method. We assess the supports, layering, weight distribution and the positions of the lashing straps.

06Complex logistics

When one vehicle is not enough

Complex logistics projects often need more than the right transport: several parties in the process have to be coordinated. Loading equipment, special permits, escort vehicles, several transport legs and partners in different countries all have to work to one agreed plan.

The Erabalta logistics and freight forwarding department assesses the whole task, chooses the transport solution and coordinates the process from cargo preparation to delivery. When our own fleet is not enough, we bring in reliable partners and specialised equipment.

For the client this means one contact, clear communication and coordinated management of every stage of the transport.

Discuss a logistics project
  1. One project coordinator

You deal with a single responsible contact who coordinates everyone involved.

  2. Choice of transport and equipment

Different vehicles, flatbeds and loading equipment are combined to suit the task.

  3. Partner network

How we work

How do we choose the right transport?

Every load has its own dimensions, weight, loading conditions and delivery requirements. That is why we first assess the whole situation and only then choose the most suitable transport solution.

  1. We assess the cargo

We find out the cargo dimensions, weight, properties, loading method and delivery conditions.

  2. We choose the transport

Based on the cargo, we choose a semi-trailer with the right construction, height and capacity, or another transport solution.

  3. We plan the logistics

We plan the best route, deadlines, the special permits needed, transhipments and other project stages.

  4. We coordinate delivery

We oversee the process from loading to final delivery and deal promptly with any issues on the road.
