Sea container transport

Transport built for 20ft and 40ft containers

We carry sea containers by road in Lithuania and across Europe. Our semi-trailers are designed for 20ft and 40ft containers, including taller High Cube containers.

High Cube containers have an external height of 2.896 m, so before transport we assess the total height of the loaded vehicle, the route and the conditions at the loading and delivery points.

  • 20ft and 40ft containers

We carry sea containers of standard lengths.

  • High Cube containers

We carry taller containers with an external height of 2.896 m.

  • Twist lock securing

Containers are secured to the semi-trailer with twist locks, which hold the load firmly and reliably in place.

  • Flexible trailer configuration

The semi-trailer can carry one 40ft container or two 20ft containers.

One-way container delivery

Container delivery without a mandatory return on the same route

Where the loading and unloading conditions allow, we can offer a one-way solution: the container is delivered to the agreed place and left there, while the vehicle moves on to its next load.

This transport model can help avoid returning an empty container with the same vehicle and reduce overall logistics costs. Whether a one-way solution is possible is assessed individually, based on the container type, route, unloading conditions and how the container will be used next.

How is the transport organised?

From container data to the delivery point

Every transport starts with an accurate assessment of the container and the loading conditions. This lets us choose the vehicle in advance, plan the work and avoid surprises during loading or delivery.

  1. Collecting the data

We collect the container dimensions, weight, photos, loading and delivery addresses and details of the lifting equipment on site.

  2. One-way service

We assess whether a standard round trip is needed or whether we can offer one-way container delivery.

  3. Choosing the transport

Based on the container specifications and loading conditions, we choose the right semi-trailer, securing solution and transport method.

  4. Agreeing the loading

We agree the arrival time, loading sequence, lifting equipment work and preparation of the container for transport.

  5. Transport and delivery

We coordinate transport to the agreed place and arrange the delivery time with the receiving party.

Container assessment

What information should a transport inquiry include?

The more accurate the container and loading site data you provide, the faster we can choose the transport, plan the work and send you a quote.

  • Container type and purpose
  • Exact external dimensions
  • Total container weight
  • Whether the container is empty or loaded
  • Cargo weight and its layout inside the container, if loaded
  • Photos of the container and visible securing points
  • Loading and delivery addresses
  • Preferred transport dates
  • Lifting equipment planned for loading and unloading
  • Access and work site conditions

If you do not have all the technical data, send the photos and dimensions you have and briefly describe the situation. We will review the information and tell you what else is needed for an accurate assessment.
